For the discerning South African gamer and creative professional, the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Shadow 3X OC is the graphics card built to dominate.

This is not merely a component; it is the centrepiece of your gaming rig or creative workstation, engineered for those who refuse to compromise on performance. The MSI RTX 5070 Shadow 3X OC brings NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture to your desktop with 6144 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR7 memory on a 192-bit bus clocked at 28 Gbps, and PCIe Gen 5 bandwidth. Whether you’re gaming at 1440p with ray tracing maxed out, rendering 3D scenes, or accelerating AI-powered workflows, this MSI graphics card delivers the raw horsepower to handle it all. A factory overclock pushes the boost clock to 2542 MHz out of the box, with Extreme Performance mode reaching 2557 MHz through MSI Center. For those who demand unflinching graphics card performance, this GPU sets a new standard.

Engineered to stay cool and quiet when it matters most.

Thermal management is critical for sustained gaming GPU performance, and the MSI Shadow 3X OC excels in this area. The triple-fan cooler features TORX FAN 5.0 technology — ring-arc-linked blades and a fan cowl that work together to stabilise high-pressure airflow across a massive heatsink. Heat is captured by a nickel-plated copper baseplate and channelled through square-profile Core Pipes for maximum GPU contact. When the card is under light loads, Zero Frozr mode stops the fans entirely for completely silent operation. A reinforcing backplate with a flow-through design adds structural rigidity while improving case ventilation. This level of cooling engineering ensures your RTX 5070 graphics card performs at its peak, session after session.

Connect, control, and customise your experience.

Three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b port support up to four monitors simultaneously, with resolutions up to 8K at 120 Hz (DSC) and full G-SYNC compatibility for tear-free gaming. On the power delivery side, DrMOS stages ensure efficient voltage control, while built-in fuse protection safeguards against electrical damage. Fine-tune every aspect of your MSI graphics card with MSI Afterburner and MSI Center — monitor temperatures, adjust fan curves, and unlock Extreme Performance mode, all from one place. This graphics card puts complete control in your hands.

The MSI Shadow 3X OC advantage for serious builders.

Choosing the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Shadow 3X OC means investing in a gaming GPU backed by decades of hardware expertise. Every element — from the custom PCB with additional fuse protection to the premium DrMOS power stages — is selected for its ability to deliver consistent, long-term performance. The single 16-pin power connector (ATX 3.1 PSU recommended) and 650W PSU requirement ensure broad compatibility with modern builds, while the 3-slot design accommodates a wide range of cases. For the South African gamer or creator who demands reliability alongside raw power, this RTX 5070 graphics card is an investment in performance you can count on.
